“World Sickle Cell Day 2023”
The Alpha Zeta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., in collaboration with the Durham (NC) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., is hosting an American Red Cross Blood Drive on “World Sickle Cell Day 2023”. Come out with your family and friends for food and Juneteenth fun, while donating blood in support of a great cause! All blood donations will benefit sickle cell patients in need. All donors will receive a free T-shirt and $30 in gift cards.
This event will take place on June 19th, Juneteenth 2023, at the Ivy Community Center, from 1pm to 6pm.

annual Survivorship Day
Duke Cancer Institute Supportive Care and Survivorship Center will have its annual Survivorship Day, June 7-9, 2023 at its Durham & Raleigh Cancer Center locations in person and virtually on zoom. This has always been a fun event. All cancer survivors are invited to attend.
Sisters Network Triangle NC is excited to be a vendor at the Duke Cancer Center (Durham) location and at Duke Women's Cancer Care Raleigh.
During Survivorship Day, Duke Cancer Institute providers and other cancer survivors will pamper you and your loved ones, and share education, resources, and strategies to help you improve your health and wellness.
